ORCA is committed to the promotion and proposal of alternatives for sustainable development, aimed at the conservation and management of marine mammals in the South Pacific. Through the integration of biological, veterinary and social sciences we can share knowledge achieved for the welfare of marine mammals and consequently, integrate the public to develop motivations and actions for their conservation. The negative impact of the over exploitation and extinction of several species from many areas along the coast, can be demonstrated in the development of the country. Science is used for sustainable development, the best tool to promote and achieve conservation of our planet.
The topics that like civil organization we get involved with, are those that harmonize with our actions, interactions and intentions for the welfare of marine species and human beings.
